Dean O. Torrence is best know as half of the early 60s surf kings, Jan & Dean.But, album cover enthusiasts also know him as the artist, designer and founder of Kittyhawk Graphics, the company responsible for a wide array of earthy and inventive album covers, including a half dozen creations for Harry Nilsson.
