THE BEACH BOYS' MIKE LOVE: STEPPING OUT OF THE SURF

"Last week in Vancouver we sold out the Canadian National Exhibition Hall twice.
We had 17,500 for each show and over 5,000 additional fans had to be turned away.

Dean O. Torrence is best know as half of the early 60s surf kings, Jan & Dean.
But, album cover enthusiasts also know him as the artist, designer and founder of Kittyhawk Graphics, the company responsible for a wide array of earthy and inventive album covers, including a half dozen creations for Harry Nilsson.
